Celebrity gossip has always been one of our nations pastimes and just like baseball I take little to no interest in it… However, looking at this weeks drama between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders I am reminded that these things happen everyday to just about everybody.  If you have not heard, Kristen Stewart, the twilight girl who is dating Robert Pattinson the vampire, was photographed kissing Rupert Sanders, the director of “Snow White and the Huntsman” who is married to the co-star of the film, Liberty Ross.  Oy Vey.

After the photos were published both apologized to their “loved” ones and that is all we know…

So now we are up in their private lives and judgment begins.  First I would like to say, we as a public have no right to pass judgment on these people.  We can say that this act was sad and regrettable and we hope that those involved can reconcile and move forward.  As a consumer of information like this I can only use this information to learn from their mistakes and never say well that is just how celebrities are when the fact is that is how we all are and we all need to deal with our sin.  I will say that the celebrity world does give us a good window to see that sin is real and it destroys relationships.

And now to the point, dealing with sin is a life long process and sooner or later we all experience the pain and hurt that sin causes.  Sin leaves us with nothing but brokenness and regret and regardless if you believe we are born into it or not, I can guarantee you that everyone will sin in their lifetime.

The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) so it is important to know that we have a savior who lived a perfect life and who died for our sins.  So stop judging others because you are sinner and have not right.  You can deal with your own sin right now by asking God to forgive you for your sin and come into your life.  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16) All you have to do is ask your sins will be forgiven.  Don’t let pride get in the way of your salvation.

Be Blessed
