Bertold Wiesner died in 1972, at 70. Who is Mr. Wiesner you ask? Well let me tell you about this British scientist and Austrian Jew who ran a fertility clinic in London. Yes you probably can assume the rest of the story but here are the facts according to the Toronto Standard, Wiesner provided an estimated 20 sperm samples a year to reproductively-challenged middle and upper-class men. 19 children conceived at the London fertility clinic who had their DNA tested in the past decade, two-thirds of them shared the same father. Seriously WOW! That is a lot of kids. The article goes on and talks about how this would be a great concept for a film but can we just sit down and think about this for a second… I mean think about it your parents drop the news on you that your dad is not your real dad and you go in for testing to find out you have 1,000 half brothers and sisters. Talk about shock!
