Think about how grey of a world view we live in today.  Seriously we live in a strange time.  A time where sexuality is taught by the state instead of the family.  Feelings dictate morality.  Choice becomes the highest priority over what is right.  Bad things happen to “good” people because we allow sinful choices to be free to make. This is the message being sent today:

It seems that the phrase “Do what feels right” has become a new moto of my generation.  But there is a major problem here, often times what feels right is very wrong.  For example, for a serial killer it may feel right to kill innocent people…(or other serial killers, Dexter), or for a rapist or pedophile it may feel right to give into their temptation.  Feeling don’t make anything right.  Our priorities are backwards, equal rights are more important that what is right.  This is not a new low for humanity.  We have been this immoral before and God judged all.  Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.  This proverb sheds a lot of light on the cause and effect of the choices of humanity.  If you think your choices are not hurting anybody, you are absolutely wrong.  Living in sin always hurts you and the people around you.  Even if you live a secret life with sexual sin, a porn addiction specifically, your view of women/men is being twisted.  Objectification will slip into your mind during your normal relationships.  But are we doomed to fall into bad choices that feel right?

I can tell you good news in a time that we desperately need it.  Jesus never forced anyone to be moral or to change their lives.  Instead, Jesus provided a better option (which by the way cost God His only Son).  To live in your own will means judgement and destruction, but in Jesus there is hope.

Why?  Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God.  He died for your sins and thereafter you now have a choice.  You can make all your own decisions, get drunk, have immoral sexual relationships with another humans… or alone, steal, lie, cheat, murder; just to name a few.  OR you can trust and obey Jesus and allow God to transform you and make you a new person.  God wants to save you from all the bad choices, will you let him?
